Fypryst 50mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in cats. The product contains the active substance - fipronil, which acts as an insecticide and acaricide, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the surface of the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one 0.5ml pipette of the preparation. Fypryst can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as one of the steps in the treatment of allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in cats. The ingredients of the product are effective against fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus spp., Dermacentor spp., Ixodes spp.), which can transmit dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the invasion of lice of the species Felicola subrostratus. Designed for external use on the skin by spot application. It exhibits effective action against fleas for 5 weeks and against ticks for 2 weeks (depending on the level of environmental pressure).
