Fypryst 268mg is a solution for combating fleas and ticks in dogs weighing between 20 to 40kg. The product contains the active ingredient - fipronil, which has insecticidal and acaricidal properties, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled activity of the central nervous system and death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the fatty structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the skin and fur, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness of the product. The package contains one 2.68ml pipette of the solution. Fypryst can be used as a preventive measure against insects or as part of the treatment for allergic flea dermatitis (AFD) in dogs. The ingredients of the product are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit the dangerous Lyme disease to pets. The product controls the infestation of Trichodectes canis fleas. It is intended for external application to the skin by spot-on administration.
