PetSafe Staywell Original 2-Way Pet Door White is a simple accessory for installation in doors or walls that provides your pet with freedom and independence. The flap for dogs and cats allows your pet to come and go from the house at any time. You don’t have to interrupt your activities to let your furry friend out and then watch for their return to let them back in.
The operation of the pet door is very straightforward. Your pet simply pushes the transparent flap with its body, and it lifts up and automatically falls back down once the pet has passed through the opening. The Staywell Original model has 2 setting options: the flap opens inward and outward or is completely closed. If you don’t want your pet to leave the house for a while or vice versa - to stay outside, you can completely close the passage at any time using a sliding cover. Importantly, the flap does not swing back and forth but stops flush with the frame, and a built-in magnet keeps the flap stationary. This closing system prevents excess air from entering the house and accidental opening of the flap, for example, during strong winds.
The transparent material resembles a window and makes it easier for the pet to push the flap in the right place. However, you can successfully install the Staywell Original inside your home to allow your pet access to a room where we rarely leave the door open, such as a bathroom. It also works well as an exit to a balcony.
The Staywell Original pet door is available in three sizes - S, M, and L. It can be installed in brick walls as well as wooden, metal, PVC, and UPVC doors. Installation is not complicated, and a special cutter and screws are included in the set to assist you. For thicker walls and doors, it is recommended to install an additional tunnel (sizes M and L included; size S sold separately). Both the frame and the flap are made of durable plastic, making the product long-lasting and resistant to weather conditions. Universal white color.
